Linux Surpasses Windows Server in Microsoft Azure

Microsoft developer and Linux kernel hacker, Sasha Levin, has admitted that #Linux usage on #Azure cloud service has surpassed Windows server.

I feel that MS would need to rework their licencing for Windows Server if they want to get more companies using that. I remember some people some friends worked with mentioning having to pay lots of money for Windows Server licences, as well as additional CALs. Linux on servers? Not much. Just pay for commercial support depending on the distro being used.
