Step 1
Locate the number key allocated to your device and brand
Step 2
Press and hold "Setup" for 3 seconds. The LED will blink twice.
Step 3
Select the device key (e.g. TV) for the device type you wish to control
Step 4
Press and hold the "DIGIT KEY assigned to your brand" (e.g. Digit 9 for a Samsung TV) until your device switches OFF.

Done. Your device is now ready for use!

whats the point in having to press the tv button to adjust the volume then press a separate button to control Sky??

If it don't work you may need to set back to factory to do this...
RESET - COUNTRY SETTING
If by mistake you selected the wrong“digit”(and therefore the wrong Region) it is possible to reset this;
1) Press and hold“Setup”until the TV LED blinks twice.
2) Press and release “POWER”.
3) Press and hold the “digit that corresponds your Region”(e.g. 1 for GB/IRL) for 3 seconds

after you have done try again

1) hold setup till the tv button blinks twice

2) press tv

3) enter this should do the trick

It is insane! I want to use the 6430 to control a VU+ Ultimo STB. I press Setup 3 sec, PVR, code 2799. Nothing. Same procedure, code 3458 I got from OFA. Nothing.
Connect USB cable, goto Simpleset.com. Nothing is downloaded from 6430 to pc - and there the story ends. Almost, I tried copying the codes from the VU+ remote but erratic function of the up/down keys shows the 6430 isn't compatible with VU+.
