Oh, wow! I never knew this existed until now. I enjoyed an Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass concert in Vancouver BC about 40 years ago. It was magic. Thank you Mala iz kraja for posting this. This was wonderful.

There was a boy
A certain strange enchanted boy
They said he travelled very far, very far
Over land and sea
A little shy and sad of eye
But very wise was he
And then one day
One magic day he came my way
And as we spoke of many things
Fools and kings
This he said to me
"The greatest joy you'll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return"
Instrumental interlude
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return"
