John Rowles - More Than Just A Woman (Original 45)

Sometimes, when you turn your 45s over, you make some really interesting discoveries.

This is what I found on the flipside of John's 1972 single, "Blue On Blue"...a soaring, powerful pop ballad with ol' Ja-Ar really giving his all!

From what I can deduce from the label, the song was written by Italian writer/producer Mario Lavezzi, then Anglicised by Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter.

It was released in Australia on an MCA 45, MCA-1293.
This upload is from the original 45...and, I have also uploaded the A. side, "Blue On Blue" to YouTube.

There's a lttle surface noise on the intro of this track, but, overall, it sounds hot!

The silver on blue printing on the label doesn't reproduce very well in a scan...I've enhanced it a little so that the writing stands out a bit more...but, that's it...sorry!

Never heard this one before, either. I wouldn't mind hearing 'I Was A Boy' by John Rowles.
