Quality music and singer/performers. Wholesome and refreshing.

Great version!! The foundation of Rock and Soul!! May they rest in pure harmony 🙏

It’s the “we’re double parked” version

From right- Charlie Thomas (singing lead), Elsbeary Hobbs (bass), Dock Green (baritone), Albert Banks (original lead of the Turbans singing tenor) and, off-camera, Abdul Samad (musical director and guitar).

“Up on the Roof.” That’s where Matt Dillon took Sean Young in, “A Kiss Before Dying.” A little safety tip: never sit on the edge without a safety harness.

Aw why'd they have to speed it up? Gives it a completely different vibe loses it's nostalgia and charm.

This wasn't the hit-making Drifters from the early 1970s. Was this some of the earlier members performing?

A song that’s about escaping from the stresses of life. This version made me tense.

Good song. Too bad it was so sped up. I liked the original recording, and I liked James Taylor's version.

I miss performances like this, where it was just the performerS

This speeded up version is fantastic! Just like the searchers speeded up version of Love Potion No. 9!

They played the slowed down version of this, as well as Under the Boardwalk on the radio constantly during summers at Myrtle Beach, part of the Beach Music genre. Love the memories 🎉

I believe this is Charlie Thomas's Drifters because Johnny Moore is nowhere to be seen.
