Considering Sando's track record, him quietly writing it then secretly releasing it 8 years ago wouldn't be that surprising.

Good to hear Hollywood came calling. Sanderson is a phenomenal writer and I looking forward to the continuation of storm light and his other books. And besides, it is not like there is a shortage of great fantasy books.

Instead, he's just writing books at a regular pace but sending completed manuscripts back in time a few years for his prior self to publish.

Im just at the beginning of Oathbringer so I am not particularly gutted but in the next couple of months I will have read every Cosmere there is to read and will be part of the waiting crew 😭

I almost wonder if they would start with a Warbreaker film. It would be fairly simple to pull off in a single movie, have stunning visuals, be something extremely unique, and be a good "cold open" to the Cosmere.

I hope they do a good job with it and don't just look at it as a way to get money quickly. I personally think Stormlight or Mistborn would do very well as an animated series in the style of Netflix's recent Arcane series.

Man, I'm still at Oathbringer right now, but SO MANY scenes that I've read would look amazing at the big screen. Can't wait to see Stormlight as a TV series.

Gosh dang, I am so excited by the prospect of a Stormlight Archive series!!! I’m about to finish Rhythm of War so I’ll definitely be excitedly waiting for book 5, but in the meantime I gotta catch up on the rest of the Cosmere and read the secret projects, so I’ll be plenty busy lol
