Condor A330-900Neo 'Prime' Business Class Trip Report

Could Condor's new A330-900Neo fleet set it above Lufthansa's Business Class? TheDesignAir takes Condor's new Business Class 'Prime Seat' proposition for a spin to see if the extra space, better amenities and affordable price tag make for a winning combination.

Condor is gradually rolling out this product to replace its ageing 767 fleet, and the end result is a quantum leap in passenger experience. It could just be that Condor has the secret sauce to be a hidden gem in the European long-haul business class market.

We will take that this fall to Frankfurt and back. Now a hoodie! I love it. I'm still using my Condor cup, my #1 amenity kit. I'm so tired of these Signature Amenity leather bags.
The most important thing, I got along with the crew on both flights in 2021. One female crew gave me a hug while we were waiting for our bags at Seattle airport. She told me to fly again Condor. For sure we will this year in their Neo A330-900.

Wow...loved this video. You mentioned that your expectations were exceeded by Condor...so were mine...even as a viewer rather than a traveler. The Business Class cabin was as visually impressive as any I have seen and I was quite pleased to see what a statement was made by the striped theme. The service from the flight attendants and certainly the dining options were also something to be complimented. This is definitely not the Condor I remember when my former partner used to fly them from Germany to the United States years ago. Great job as usual, my friend. You've set the bar pretty high.

I flew business class two weeks ago, PDX to FRA, in seat 6K, which is NOT a prime seat. We got no pajamas or snack basket, so they must be prime-seat perks. I liked the seat a lot - pretty comfy. You mentioned that the "footwell" can feel cramped on many airlines but it felt roomy to me. The one thing I didn't like about the seat was there was ZERO storage - nothing at your feet and nothing on the shelf is allowed during takeoff and landing. The FA came along and put my man-purse in the overhead, which really annoyed me. Also I found the meal service to be really rushed, but maybe the FAs don't know what they are doing yet.
