I remember 2 American women taking the whole space for the baby car in the bus and they acted like they deserve to be there because they were there first. You are going to go to France and eat food you do not enjoy, but be happy because you are experiencing a foreign culture. You are going to complain to the American that you don't like the restaurant you picked. The American man isn't making plans 3 months in advance because he knows you will either flake, wasting his time and money, or you will complain about any choices he makes, again wasting his time and money. The French man is making plans 3 months in advance because he is desperate and does not have attractive options in his own country who will date him. This is the current culture we have here and it is ridiculous. I am glad I found a girl who doesn't play random games like that. She tells me what she wants, she gets what she wants. No games, just communication. Try being open and honest and you will have a good time instead of traveling the world offering a courtesy to people of other countries you won't offer to the people of your own.
