Inflation is far more harmful to individuals than a collapsing stock or property market because it directly affects people's cost of living, which they immediately feel. It is not surprising that the current market sentiment is extremely pessimistic. In today's economy, assistance is critical if we are to survive.

How am I supposed to feed my family, drive to work, pay utilities and save anything? I was doing OK two years ago and now we’re struggling to survive. My wife and I can only afford to eat once per day!! Why can’t we sustain our simple way of life?

How is it legal for rent, medical expenses, and food or basic necessities to be so expensive. We’re all literally working to death to barely scrape by. The rich get richer and the poor really do get poorer. This is crazy.

I have a rental property and my mortgage on that property has not changed due to inflation. These people raising their rents is simply greed and nothing else.

Can we stop acting like ppl with families/ kids are the only ones that struggle. They get the most assistance because of their kids. Let’s talk about single ppl for once. Df.

Housing prices won’t come back down, landlords and companies do not adjust the rent prices downward. When they reach a new high, they keep it there because they know people will pay it - This continues to play off the housing market and drive demand upward in a situation that already lacks inventory

While helping a friend to find a place to rent, I was shocked at the cost of places that were total dumps! Old places run down, lack of upkeep by owners. Housing shortage is allowing these property owners to ask premium prices.

It's hard to predict the future until we see this month’s inflation results. However, historical data consistently show that stocks tend to outperform bonds in the long term. Therefore, I'm staying in the market and focusing on selecting high-quality stocks. The challenge lies in identifying these stocks.

Greed is increasing. The rich can care less if a family ends up on the streets!

A family member takes her kids in for the night and not her? Even if you have a cot or a sleeping bag on the floor, you should never leave their mother out on the streets in her car! What's wrong with these families today!

Remember. All the big companies raising their prices and lowering portions aren't raising the prices because they have too, they are doing it because they can and it's making them richer....and they work everyday side by side with our politicians.

More people could become homeless once they can’t pay their mortgage payments, because the cost of gas and food and basically everything going up.

Landlord greed is causing a housing crisis. Why raise the rent at twice the rate of inflation if you bought your property many years ago? The commodification of housing is causing a housing crisis. Buying multiple properties for the sake of easy income off the backs of people who can’t afford a home is just a scummy thing for a corporation or individual to do.

This is the underlying fear I see in the way things are heading.

Rents in Southeast Asia don’t normally go higher than 20% of your monthly income. In the USA, rents are easily above that, especially in CA.

And as a Type 1 diabetic I have to ration my insulin It's either food insulin or rent I not able to do all anymore For the first time in my life I cannot afford groceries and because I work cannot get food stamps. Something has to give.

If you don’t cover the corporations that are buying all the low cost, starter homes then you are not speaking factually about the issue. Constructions impact is minimal as is inflation, wages have a big impact as well. But the largest contributor overall is big business and their greed as usual.
