How to Fix a Location in Google Maps

You can fix a business location error in Google Maps by following these simple directions.

Start by using a desktop computer - you cannot do this on an iPhone. I believe you can do this on an Android, but I don't own one, so I cannot confirm.

Find the business that is in the wrong location and click "suggest edit."

Then move the map underneath the pin to the correct location. Click Done to submit your update and Send. Google will review your change.

You can also use this to fix the address or category.

I suggested google maps to change the locations of three shops they only change the front store images it has been a long time i keep sending feedbacks but they havent changed yet i put the correct location and map marker

Hi how would you fix a home address? Basically our home address is the same address but another city. So when I put my address or others they end up bring up the other city one…even when they provide our full address. It’s very frustrating.

My home address shows the wrong pin location, parcel deliverers can't find my house and stuff gets shipped back to sender. Very inconvenient if that is China, you never see it back, or your money..
I've tried to change my home address numerous times now, and every time Google says my change has been accepted and it can take up to 24 hours to show on the map.
However, the map never updates 😫 (this is costing me money and I should sue Google for that, but I do not live in the USA..)
It's driving me mad... 😠
