There’s a reason why the Excursion is called the KING OF SUV’s!

I have 227, 000 miles on my 2007 Ford Expedition XLT. It still looks and runs like new. I tow my 31' Vintage Airstream with no problems.

I have a very customized 05 Eddie Bauer Expedition with 219000. Runs like a top. The secret with the triton motor is regular oil changes. With full synthetic. I love my Ford.

My 2000 4.6 Ford Expedition is King of SUV's. Currently at 430K and climbing. I only replaced the timing chain and sprockets at 300K only because I felt it was about that time. lol and the transmission quit at 380K, Unbelievable power the engine still had after rebuilding the transmission. Needs paint but that's it.

I have owned 2 Nissan Armada, both were the models right below the Platinum level. My 2007 had over 334, 000 miles on it when I sold it for $2700! The engine and transmission still work great. I only sold it because I got tired of it leaking around the sunroof area.
I currently own a 2012 that I bought used over 2 yrs ago with over 190, 000 miles on it....it now has more than 273, 000 miles on it. Its my daily driver and runs like a Top! I Love the Nissan Armada and truly believe they have been underrated for so long! I'll stand behind the 2007- 2015 Nissan Armadas, as being Very dependable and reliable.
I live in Atlanta area and have used both vehicles as daily driver w/ Uber. I averaged over 200 miles a day because I do long trips to and from the airport netting over 45 miles one way!
I have odometer pix if U don't believe me.
The 5.6L engine is definitely a workhorse and should be given more attention to its reliability in the Nissan Armada. Period!

Have a 2001 Ford
Excursion with 423, 000
miles, 7.3 diesel.
The usual repairs, 6 tire change outs, 2 steering wheels, knock on wood,
no major issues.
Had 2 loving mechanics
that were great. Always

5, 000 mile high grade oil changes, always plugged in block heater
under 36 degrees.
Always started,
changed batteries twice so far.
Used to get 17 city,
22 highway.
Dropped to 15/20
when they changed diesel to new formula.
Love "Old Red".
Saved so many people
out of ditches and mud,
hauled big trailers,
fishing trip to Ohio
with seven guys, each over 260, and 300 lb
of walleye on the bumper rack. A great
road car, couldn't ask for more.
BTW, I have a Ford 2003
E150 Chateau van
with 233K miles.
Two wheel drive, but sure got a lot of work
and fun out of this vehicle. Still running
great.
Don't know how to send
you pix of odometer or car.
Still looks good in spite
of rust on edges.

2000 excursion diesel. Bought new. 160k miles. Nothing but normal maintenance and typical repairs (radiator, water pump, ball joints). Best vehicle I have ever owned.

Our 2000 excursion 7.3 is at about 260k with only normal wear and tear parts but nothing major! Still runnin as it should! These are proud miles and we don't except to ever het rid of it. Still take my family with small children on trips all the time without worry! Gets about 500 miles to our tank on the freeway on some of these trips and that with a 6 inch lift on 35 inch tires.

2001 6.8 excursion Bought new, stored winters, loaded, just turned 50k. It’s my summer travel rig. And it is a great highway ride. Best modification was adding a rear sway bar and train horns

I have a 2011 Ford Expedition EL limited with 226, 000 miles . I did a full tune up at 215, 000 miles when it was running a little rough and replaced solenoids and it runs great again ! If you getting a Expedition best to get after 2008 when they fixed the spark plug issue he mentioned here. Sure 5.4 has bad rap but just like any engine take care of it and it’ll be fine . Don’t miss oil changes!!!

Our bought new 2000 7.3 Ford Excursion 4X4 diesel, just turned 200, 000 miles. It starts, runs, drives, stops LIKE NEW! Ca. veh with no rust. I maintained it "By the Book" OR BETTER, since DAY 1! I Added a diesel fuel "Lubricity" additive at every fill up. (Diesel fuel has had it's lube content, reduced every few years, for decades). Transmission fluid& filter change EVERY 30, 000 miles. NOTHING like travelling in an 8000 pound tank, sitting high up.
