Robot-based Closing Cups with Screw Lids programmed with ArtiMinds RPS

The cans and lids are gripped and screwed with a SCHUNK gripper. The SCHUNK Force/Torque sensor is evaluated live and automatically via the ArtiMinds LAR software. By measuring forces the screwing process is stopped as soon as a defined torque is applied and the lid is closed. The UR robot was programmed via the ArtiMinds RPS software. Thanks to already integrated interfaces, ArtiMinds RPS minimizes the implementation effort for connecting external sensor technology and simplifies programming of sensor-adaptive robot applications while enabling robust execution.
