Is the more expensive RV really better? In today's video I'll be reviewing a 2024 Brinkley Model G 3950 and a 2024 Jayco Seismic Luxury Series 4113.

Things I reference in the video:

If you buy products through my Amazon store links I receive a small commission but at no extra cost to you!

This is the RV I was looking at and then boom literally the YouTube algorithm popped your channel up and now I see I have a lot of research to do. I don’t plan on buying an RV no time soon but definitely will in the next 2 - 3 years. Will be getting your course beginning of this year and the app. Thank you for knowledge that you put out for people like me who know very little about RVs

Our TT came with 2 GE 15k AC/Heat Pumps. The first broke in the first month of use. The second broke the first night we used the heat pump function.

I have a Grand Design 23 BHE that the black tank flush line blew off on first use. It has F plumbing. Other leaks too.

Great video. Learned something new about the black tank fitting. Love it when you look at Brinkleys vs other brands feels like they set the standard.

Regarding the tankless water heater. I would give the Suburban/Furion/Gerard a 0, negative if i could. BTW i lumped them together because i think they all come from the same factory.

We had a Suburban tankless in our rig from the factory and not only did we have to wait forever for hot water, like minutes we also had constant E1 errors when the flame would not light. This happened almost any time you tried to go from on to off and then back on again in a short period of time or if you tried to adjust the temperature. We also had E5 errors any time it rained hard, the E5 is the one where you have to blow on the tube to clear water out of the exhaust sensor. Ours was also very sensitive to pressure, if we didnt have at least 40psi the E1 error was almost a guarantee. Due to the way it worked things like a navy shower was not an option which is bad for boondocking.

We ended up having a Truma Aqua GO comfort installed in our RV and it fixed ALL of those issues we had with the Suburban. Because its a hybrid type system and it has the little tank it keeps hot we get hot water at the sinks or shower within seconds and unlike a tank type heater where you run out when the tank is empty, we have virtually unlimited hot water once its running if we want it. We can also cycle the water on and off without issue so a navy shower works really well with this heater. We have had no issues boondocking with ours, we do it all the time.

I definitely found a gnarly leak at my black tank flush connection on my Lance 2465. Really frightening is it was soaking my floor at the end of trips when I would do the flush and not necessarily discover it quickly. Fixed it with supplies from your Amazon store, all good now.

Brinkley should watch this and change things that are possible.
I was looking to buy a Toy Hauler with them.
A/C is important, so now I know to change that and the tank.
The frame is another and more important concern though. Thank you for this review.

I’m looking at a TT to live in and your videos are really helpful. So many things to learn and so many choices to choose from.

What do you think about eternabond instead of sealant?

Jacob are these new all electric RVs a good way to go and avoid the propane tanks ?

How does a tank style water heater help conserve water over a tankless? I’ve only had a tank style so I can’t compare and would like to know.

You can capture the small amount of wasted water from the on demand heater and put it back into the water tank

I would have to disagree on the tankless water heater conversations around boondocking. We have a furion with our GD 28BH and have loved the tankless WH. We never waste propane heating water we dont need to heat. The shower is also right by the tankless and its heats that water up super fast. Doesnt really get got water pumping out any fast then what I remember our tanked heater doing. Would be interesting to see a video showing the difference in water usage before hot comes out in a similarly designed unit. I would however think it would be cool if manufacturers would look at a hot water recirculating loop to loop the hot water line heating through the tankless first without actually using the water. This way you could turn on the recirculating about 30 seconds or a minute before needing the hot water and you only end up wasting the little bit of water from bit of line from circulating loop to the fixture. For the higher end rigs like Brinkley I think this would be neat and frankly not that much extra cost to install. Do you know of any brands doing this? Our kitchen sink is so far from the WH that we fill up our kitchen sink gray tank quickest since we always waste so much water just waiting for the hot to get to that spot.

Interested on your input on the 2025 Brinkley Model Z 3515 fifth wheel if you ever bump into one or already did

I would be interested in your opinion on TT, I’m looking at Brinkley but wanted a second opinion based on my camping experiences, I love boondocking and National or State parks with minimal service. I currently have a 2022 GD 29G and not very impressed with GD customer service and reliability and customer support
