Georgia fan here. Dan is easily my favorite coach excluding Kirby, and a big part of that is how I (and a ton of other Dawg fans) could tell from the get-go that he’s an extremely genuine and humble guy, not to mention one hell of a coach. I know you’ve been burned in the past by coaches leaving you high and dry, but during the A&M gossip last year and Bama this year, all I could do was chuckle to myself because it was funny watching the CFB world freak out when I knew without a shadow of a doubt that Dan was staying put.

Dan chose y’all over ALABAMA. He isn’t leaving for ANYTHING.

Y’all got a good one Ducks, I’m excited to see him bring the trophy back to Eugene. Go Dawgs, and Huck the Fuskies.

I still can’t believe this. When I heard Nick retired my first thought bye Dan. Then seeing he reports it’s done deal he’s going. Half an hour later he comes out says he’s not going anywhere. Dude has character kids love him and we just got a huge wide out in the transfer. This team will be huge problem next year. After all of our coaching issues we ended up with one of the best in the country.
