The Niners were not open to trade offers at the start of training camp, but they have now given Aiyuk permission to negotiate a contract with other teams. The New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns reportedly have both contacted the 49ers and shown interest in acquiring Aiyuk. Talk about stretching the field, but I recall no so long ago people saying Purdy only throws dink plays and doesn't have the arm strength even though he had the best air yard avg in the league...So we can stretch the filed now? reason why the Niner's can't stretch the field has to do with timing...You need an O-line that can give the QB a few seconds so someone can stretch the field....The Niner O-line was ranked 26th last are very few QBs in this league that can wait for the field to be stretched behind that line.
