This is a great feature for us who love a manual gearbox, not quite the same but get's the job done.

Shift at around 4500 rpm. You’ll get the most power out of your Jetta. If you have the sport edition and are driving in normal mode (D), shift down to 4th gear at around (55-65mph) then shift down again into sport and give it a pull. The transmission is smart enough to shift down again into 3rd gear even at 60mph. I swear to god if you get it just right, the car feels amazing. No lag just power. And it’s nice because you can reach 60to100 rather fast

hopefully not a silly question, but is it advantageous to switch between full automatic transmission and the manual one in Triptonic cars as often as possible? I have always only ever really used the auto transmission in mine and I was wondering if I could be preserving the life of the gear if I occasionally switch to +/- manuals

Okay can you help me out, I own a 2012 VW CC Sport 2.0 and a year ago it had the transmission rebuild but now when I put it to D/S + it’ll be normal with the gears display as in 1, 2, 3, 4 etc but when I switch to ( S ) mode it doesn’t display the gears what could the issue be ?

I mean, I don’t think mine has that 😢 I have to rev match every time I downshift in my 2016 Passat

So basically it can shift by itself cause I have a 2015 Jetta tsi whenever I put mine in Manuel mode if I’m doing a launch in first gear and in a high rpm it switch into second gear without me doing it is that ok?

How do I know when to move up a gear or down? I would like to understand this because it’s good to know but i don’t get it lol

Do we have to use the gear engage lever while shifting in tiptronic?

I’ve always wondered does driving with this use less gas?

What about the extra pedal on the right? Is it's supposed to represent the clutch?
