The Brightness/Contrast adjustments are great for images that are looking a little flat and need a boost in contrast, but what about images that start out with too much contrast, or too dull?

Shadows gives us separate control of the shadows in an image, allowing us to easily bring out hidden detail in the lightest and darkest areas and reduce overall contrast by pushing more of the tonal range into the midtones, often resulting in a more pleasing image.

go to edit image -
adjust -Shadow
