Cherry tomatoes - Couple days after #tomato #shorts

cherry tomato plant is grown over 6 ft tall. have a lot of green tomatoes so what I did was top in the plant off which is basically cutting off the growing point of the top. removing most of the branches and remove all suckers so they plant focus the energy under tomatoes for growing and ripening on the vine..

Your compost must be huge. We have 3 and running out of space.
Gotta prune our bucket cherry tomato. Your clusters are really nice. We still have blossoms.

Beautiful cherry tomatoes, I tend to save most of mine when I have a large harvest. They are so good in homemade soup.

Zone 6b. Pruning our Cherry tomato got neglected while planting other veggie for fall. Expecting another downpour. Well that's what my local tv channel said. We have cardboard to cover our newly planted seeds.

Will this work with determinate tomatoes as well? Still have some left on them but green at the moment

Dont they need leaves to photosynthesis? Or how are they getting energy without photosynthesis from the leaves? Is this something i should do towards the end of the growing season?
