I test drove the NX 350 F Sport the other day, I actually had it for a day. I was blown away by its smooth ride quality, serene cabin and general sense of built quality inside. I was not expecting it to rank so high in this list, but then, I am not surprised at all.

I owe RX 350h 2023, my real mpg is around 32-35. So far I had 2 problems:
1) the HUD got a black spot in the middle.
2) the 12v battery stopped holding the charger.

Both problems were fixed for free by Lexus dealers.

However We tested the MDX vs the Lexus, we picked the safety of the V6 in the MDX. The RX was working very hard to get up to the highway speed and made lots of noise. The 4banger turbo in Lexus might be fuel efficient and all but we decided that the V6 in Acura merged into the highway speed “effortlessly” and very smooth and quiet ride.

I'm curious about how Volvo fits in with a lot of these lists. It feels as though they're largely ignored despite having pretty good tech, very good hybrid options, and decent resale value. Admittedly they can be a bit unreliable, but I feel like I'd put the 60 and 90 series alongside almost any of these picks.

Lexus RX is a great choice. If I need to keep three cars, Lexus RX will be there. The Lexus GX, Porsche Cayenne, and Lexus RX are my top choices. My wife’s choices are the Porsche Cayenne, Lexus RX, and Lexus GX
