I think its the dragon center noise when you put the option from the fan to cooler boost

I've had 2 gs63vr laptops in the past and both were quiet enough that I couldn't hear the fans while gaming on speakers. Fans set to auto though. Cooler boost was very loud.

I have to buy mine from best buy. Any way to tell if I'm getting a model with fan noise problems?

Thats cooler boost dude smh nothing at all wrong with the pc the fans are just running at max power turn the volume up you wont even notice smh terrible if you dont know why even buy a pc that expensive

Hello, they are all like that. As much as I love the specs of the laptop. The CPU fan is too loud, you can set it to 0 RPM in Dragon Center though which I DO NOT recommend although msi has it configured even if its at 0rpm it will spin when the temperature gets high. Also the speakers on thes 1600$ laptop are the worst speakers ive ever had on a laptop I owned, my old iPhone 2g sounds better, even the headphones are too loud when connected due to bad drivers.

Not bad at all my old computer was much worse than that, but if you have gaming headset I say no broblem and who even uses speakers in laptops they are all awfull!
