I’m curious why John uses προς in John 1:1 (προς τον θεών). It seems a really odd word to use when there’s more clear options like μετά.

So would I say sentence in English, 'This failure is like my life, ' translated into Biblical Greek as, "This failure is my life'.' ? I'm unclear, because Arametic has the word for the preposition, 'like.'

"Genitive" is the correct spelling (not Genetive)

Shame, I can't watch because the pronunciation is not Greek. It's Americanised Erasmus false accent. Greeks hate it. The modern Greek pronunciation should be used. The say it's practically the same and hasn't changed all that much.
