Pre-Production Arduino Zero

We interviewed Bob from Atmel about the newly announced Arduino Zero. They did have board in hand which were so newly minted he had only received it 48 hours before our interview. The hardware looks wonderful, but there are two signals that were swapped meaning at least one more board spin before the hardware goes into production.

During the first part of the video, I thought, "that girl in the background is just STARING at the camera without blinking...." XD

It looks like an interesting revision of the Arduino, I'm sure it will get lots of use.  It would be really nice to see a lot more 3.3v shields though, but I'm sure they'll be the majority in time.
As for Hackaday showing 'high tech' stuff, what's wrong with that? I'm sure it'll be used to hack together many projects, maybe they just realize that hacks aren't limited to one person or one group of people's narrow view of what is and isn't a hack and to survive in the environment they need to be relevant to a diverse group of hackers and builders.

It would be nice if they put together a version with xmega parts + pdi debugger, because 120€ is way to much for jtagice3. And atmel needs to make some sort of effort to develop in Linux. Forcing us to install windows and running atmel studio is just a bit lame.
