Was searching for days how to resolve this problem. In the end I just had to put the folder with the installation filles in the same folder as the one I installed the game to, and it worked finally!

try to install on any other drive. that worked for me. whenever i tried to install on 'C' drive i'm getting this error.

Hey guys for those don't work follow this instruction it is very simple first restart your computer into safe mode and after click the setup it will not show any error and install it. After finishing installing restart ur computer into normal mode and see the installed where you have been seen.I also suffered this same error.Now, i recovered by following this instruction.

For those who didn't work this solution, try to install Microsoft visual C++ redistributable x64 and x86 (both version). For me it worked like a charm after trying everything I could find on internet.

I had done all work but isdone eror arise in 98.1 % i have tried all steps even i change to windows 10. Off my firewall windows defeander. Isdone file extract not working plz help me

Finally it worked for me i got it installed earlier on 4gb ram without any issues, i had my os to be reinstalled for hardware upgrade 8gb ram cpu n mobo, kept getting isdone.dll errors, tried all methods like copy paste dll files, virtual space increment, safemode etc all failed.. But then i removed my 4gb single slot ram n went on to install on 2*2 =4 gbs of ram in 2 slots as a normal installation it worked.. Took 6hrs though but no errors.. My download file was rg mechanics 39.8gb torrent (win 8.1, win7x64 both working) replace the ram after installation.. Seems ram slots has to occupied by identcal ram sizes to deal with this..

This dos not work. You must place the DLL files into the directory your installing FROM. Meaning, unpack your ISO into a folder, place ISDone.dll and Unarc.dll into that folder, along with the Setup.exe and THEN install. And then it will work. Or at least it did for me.

after download the direct x setup, when I try to run it, it shows me "you must be running Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows server 2003 family to install the direct x 9.0"

I've downloaded GTA V and everything when smoothly. When I try installing it, at around 44% it gives me the following error: 
"ISDone.dll
Start error
in the module
ISExec!"

I've searched online for a few fixes and I've tried them out with no success. Any help would be appreciated!
