Girl in DRESS or DISTRESS?

Hi everyone! I am Karyn, a bilingual emcee and singer in Singapore, and together with my buddy @guitarstreet , singer and guitarist, we wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at what goes into our live sound setup for events. This one was for Yan Hao and Jolyn’s wedding at the beautiful Conrad Centennial Singapore, Grand Ballroom.

For this setup, we used:

🎧 Two Yamaha StagePas 600i speakers at the front to cover the main audience
🔊 One Bose S1 Pro Plus at the back to make sure the guests at the rear could hear clearly
🎵 One Bose S1 Pro Plus on stage as our monitor so we could hear ourselves
From lugging equipment around to doing sound checks, it’s all part of what we do to make sure everything sounds great—not just for the audience but also for us as performers. We’re not just a live band and emcee team; we’re also our own sound crew!

This kind of documentation is something we’ve decided to start doing because, well, we’re not getting any younger! 😂 It’s a way for us to reflect on all the amazing events we’ve been part of and to remember the little moments that make each one special.
