Iran Wounds Five US Soldiers As Russia Assists Them

Five US soldiers and two contractors were wounded in an Iranian-backed attack last night. This comes as the US is now starting to see Iran prepare for a military response to Israel. Russia has started delivering radars and air defense equipment to Iran as they prepare for a potential war with Israel. This comes after it’s been revealed that the Russian military is assisting the Houthis in targeting ships in the Red Sea. Hezbollah’s leader gave a speech today saying that their response will be “strong and effective” and will happen regardless of the consequences. He also said that making Israel wait for their attack is part of the attack – cause if you recall – a week ago they promised immediate retaliation within hours and 7 days later we’re still waiting. So the stalling is a tactic, allegedly at least. Before his speech, Israel flew several jets over Beirut and had them break the sound barrier in an effort to intimidate. He says “it’s pointless and doesn’t scare him”. Israel estimates that Hezbollah will attack before Iran and have begun opening bomb shelters and mandating Israelis be able to reach one in 30 seconds. The US has assembled a multinational coalition to defend Israel from this Iranian attack and has reportedly told Israel “don’t push it” and warned them to think carefully before they respond. With one western official saying they’re expecting several intense days of exchanging blows before the temperature will go down.
