Since it is quarantine I got skates. Now I haven’t skated on these kind of skates in over 4 years. I am a figure skater so my balance is good however there are no topicks in which, I’m going forward... those are wheels not something to stop you on

I just turned 33 and I'm gonna buy myself some roller blades for my birthday. Seriously, videos like this are amazing. They take away my residual "I'm too old to try to start learning this" and make it seem super manageable.

I love your style man. First off, you are way too cool, you got great vibes. Secondly, your style of skating is definitely what I’m after. I watch you so closely. You ATTACK the rail/ledge and your landings are very “Simone Biles”, just a solid attack of everything you land, very aimed, focused and intentional. I am doing all that you say and do dude. You’re a great model of excellence in this sport.

Back to basics. Always great to be reminded where we all started. Your foot movements to teaching a stride very much reminds me of my own martial arts training where you would move from stance to stance. The foot moving forward (or in this case pushing off) would make a crescent or half moon shape to the forward position and then the now rear foot would repeat the movement. If I teach any one this year, I’ll definitely use this video as a template.
