just a little tip. you have to wait until the player starts his run before you can pick the direction they are running in. It's not like a skill move where you need to be super fast, I find I can generally take my time when directing the run. 

It's a very useful skill for losing the last defender on your striker. You just aim the left stick at your striker and click LB or L1, then when he starts beelining towards the goal make him cut left or right with your right stick. Generally wait until your striker is even with last defender before you change his direction.

I realised this works on Classic settings not customized setting like Custom A or B... I'm now forced to use Classic. I use R1 for Sprinting and L1 for for protecting the ball so I can't play with Classic but for the sake of commanding my players forward i'll have to use Classic

Dude, is not working for me. I have all features from the trainer enabled, and I did the same things as you did. But the arrows don't show up and my players don't do anything. What I'm doing wrong? Is the 3rd tutorial I'm looking for, still can't understand how this feature works.
