Honestly Nosk was a really cool boss thematically. The game kinda tricks you into thinking "Hey another one of me! Cool!" and you follow it. Then you either dreamnail the corpses or the gates shut and you're like "Oh no." Then Nosk comes out and you're like "OH NO."

Oh, I like the over shoulder shot. The little tilt of the head that shows he's noticed nosk. It's crazy, they don't even have eyes really but the characters are so expressive. Very cool aspect of the art design and you captured it perfectly!

As the gate to Deepnest closed behind the little challenger, one of the mantises wondered if it would survive. Deepnest was no playground after all. Soon after, the cries of the Deepnest creatures filled the still air, and a Stalking Devout rushed towards the gate, bashing it with it's hardened foreclaws, screeching all the while. It was in bad condition, two of it's legs were missing and most of it's orange, infected eyes were dark. The creature gave one last desperate wail before being destroyed by a blast of magic that the little challenger had used.

It was no longer a question of whether the little challenger would survive, but a question of if the gate was needed to keep the beasts out after the Knight had finished it's business there.
