I know the paralysis all too well. I'm currently sitting at 1291 artifacts, 1297 accessories, and about 300 more artifacts in the mail. Yes, I'm definitely a packrat.

The one thing that helps me during a gear cleanse is reminding myself that I could sell ALL of what I have in the bank without weakening my equipped champions. Of course, as you might guess based on those counts above, it doesn't help enough. 🙂

best tip i found was sell all 5* res chest and banners because if you go for resist you need max possible stats and 5* will never be optimal! :)

Given that oils and ore are scarce, Stoneskin should be the prio for the ascension/chaos ore strat over sets like bolster/lethal. It’s because you can build a tanky champ or a full nuker or a debuffer. So, hp%/crit dmg gloves with matching ascension bonus are good. Hp%/def%/atk%/acc/res chest with matching ascension bonus are good. Atk%/def%/hp%/speed boots with matching stats are good. You are essentially arranging your rng such that the target is wider, so you are bound to get more useful pieces. Whereas with Lethal for example, you rly are only looking for crit dmg with crit dmg ascension bonus.

I gear every champions I keeping, went through my champions artifacts to check if any of my gear is worth changing. Then select all a sell it. Sold all my 5 star gear that not equipped. Upgrading to 6.

What I'm doing atm for trying to find rare gear pieces is the gauntlet trick. I ascend only cruel 6 stars legos and 6 stars stone skin gauntlets and if it get crit dmg ascension I reforge them. My idea for cruel set is that u can combine it with savage or lethal set or even stone skin so it looks like best chance to spend my ores on.

Lol, nailed it on the head with the whole, holding onto gear bcuz you're scared it could be my account in a nutshell. I use to not be that way either, but the more end game stuff I play, the more wider range of gear i hold onto. I use to delete stuff based on attacker, defense, support.
But now with hydra, hard dungeons, and hard doom tower being my main focus in the game. I need attackers to have hp and def with resistance, too. Supporters need some attacking stats. Defense Champs needs some attacking stats, too. Not to mention they all need speed regardless of what I'm doing. Stat requirements are rough in hydra. I'm struggling to make teams to even compete in brutal and NM.

My mailbox is flooded with gear lol when do you think we should start to be more brutal with 5 stars? Im currently doing ig and fk stages 24-25 and hard spider and dragon so maybe i should start to annihilate my 5 stars reserve.

If you have 5 star glives with % main stat, would you sell every glove that has no speed substat on it? What if i have crit dmg/rate and acc on a main def% or hp% glove?

For end game, I personally don't see a ton of value in the Guardian set. I think holding onto anything but S-Tier gear (triple and quad rolls of Speed, Hp%, resist) is pretty useless. Any champ that you would want to be tanking damage should just be in stoneskin really. You will only continue to fill those slots more and more each week. Defiant is the gear set to chase compared to guardian. If guardian was a 2 piece set for half the return, I'd be more willing to keep the gear but outside of that, I just don't think the hassle is worth the return. If anyone has a different experience, please feel free to chime in!

I get rid of anything that doesn't have sp, keeping 5 and up while mid game and early, then it's nothing but 6 with no flat stats on boot, chest and glove.
