Protesters vow to hold rally at RNC despite tensions

Protesters affirm commitment to hold a rally and march on the RNC on Monday, July 15. TRNN spoke to a broad coalition of Milwaukee organizers whose engagement in direct action is, for some, due to a loss of faith in the voting process. Members of this broad coalition also plan to march on the DNC in Chicago. Issues of concern range from the protection of the LGBTQ community, restoration of reproductive health care rights, ending the war on Gaza, strengthening unions, and working to end police brutality.
