I just took my second passenger to the ever door and I was on the edge of tears. On a lighter note though I keep liking this to animal crossing with a story. Crafting, resource management, fulfill requests for animals, there is even a money grubbing raccoon.

It’s impressive how I’ve spent over 25 hours on this game and I haven’t even finished it. Also all of this time has been used well and never gets tedious it’s hard to put down. And as I’ve said the time is filled with good well written dialogue. Never gets annoying

My kid self would have eagerly anticipated this game just off of something as little as that glowy pickaxe animation alone.

But I can see already that this is gonna be one of those "me" games, and I can't wait!

For all of those here after the nindie, PLEASE PLAY A SHORT HIKE. I bought it on pc a while ago and it is such a cute and just enjoyable relaxing game. I will repurchase it on switch just to support the company producing it.

This review is spot on, well done! Spiritfarer is an amazing game. It just might be one of the best games I have ever played. And I've played many, many games, from triple A to obscure indie. In terms of feeling involved and absorbed, Spiritfarer is absolute gold. And it sprinkles such beautiful surprises throughout the game. The music, characters, artwork and animation is all so perfectly in check with each other. A truly amazing accomplishment by the relatively small Canadian developer Thunder Lotus.
