Loved seeing you okay this. Future advice, get brains done as soon as you can because rains and storms create greenland which you can then use for all the other biomes etc.
Also you could have gotten the predator because when you discover a species in an area they appear in all biomes that meet to condition. So the forest by some grassland area had access to deer as prey

Just so you know, you want the water pump on a higher elevation. It would go further and allow you to reach those areas without spending again something extra

Edit: Not in the full-release. --For recycling at the end, you actually don't need to destroy more. You can just chain silo into silo until you reach water--
