A good run through the new features, and great samples. One extra feature which does not get mentioned by you slim reviewers - the cap mount now clips onto the pendant magnetically so you can adjust the angle of the camera. Vital for chubby users!

Can you just attach the camera to your t-shirt (as an example), check the angle on the pod, maybe even start the recording and just chuck the pod into your pocket or backpack? Will the recording continue? That's something I cannot really do with the AcePro when wearing on my chest unless I use the app as a remote. (No, I don't wanna buy a remote)

I was wondering if I'm wrong but the reframe and free rotation (fix chest rotation sometimes)... These adjustments inside the free frame videos are gone? In free frame the aspect ratio on the camera menu is locked into 4:3 that didn't existed before and if I want the horizon leveling the crop is ridiculous plus not letting me to point or twist the movie if I want to... I never thought that I wanted to downgrade...

great video - tiny question! in interval mode do you have to leave the camera on? but what about the battery life? or will it turn itself back on to take the clip at the set time then off until the next time slot?

Nice vid mate. Just wondering, with the interval recording, for example if you have it set to shoot a 10second clip every 5 mins, are you able to press record at any time within the intervals to record an additional clip and then the camera continues on with its interval recordings?

I have my AcePro currently under repair (hopefully it will be replaced) due to water damage - thanks Insta360 for ruining my summer 😂 - and I was thinking maybe this is the one I should get instead. It's much lighter and probably is perfectly enough for my needs. However I don't really trust the magnet, let's say I would not wear the necklace and the camera attached to it padding on a SUP.

It is a massive problem that you can't read files directly from the camera using a cable. It is wifi only and you need the app. The only slight work around is the quick reader which is another £45.99 and is sold out. Really this is a scam because working without it is not good.
