..hey, Tim/Yamaha Global..this instrument is 'almost' perfect..I do have one recommendation though...

..it needs a sequencer/looper for recording..at least for the FGDP-50 since it has the extra pads that can be used for 8 separate tracks..I feel that a feature like that would give more incentive for those looking for the functionality while the FGDP-30 can stay more attuned and streamlined for use within DAWs and for live performances...just a thought..it could be a simple firmware update, hopefully version 1.03 if you all act on it immediately..this instrument was initially hard to find due to its popularity, and I feel it would be in even more demand if artists AND producers know that at least the FGDP-50 has a limited sequencer/looper built

..overall it's a cool addition to a long line of excellent products from Yamaha!!

I would like to know some drum setups that Tim is using. Maybe go through setting up a new drum kit that he uses a lot.

I like standalone gear vs. DAW based gear. This has a lot to give. I'd like to have a hands (fingers) on demo though.
