Digital Citizenship and Safety (UNICEF)
Показать описание
The internet, mobile phones and other digital technologies offer unprecedented opportunities to fulfill some of the rights of children enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child. More and more children -- especially those living in the developing world -- are increasingly able to access information, to share their views and to interact with likeminded people -- through the internet. However, access to the internet and mobile has also made children more vulnerable to abuse and exploitation, and has the potential to put children's rights to safety and privacy at risk.
This video is one of four, produced by UNICEF as part of the Digital Citizenship and Safety project and shared with Google South Africa to raise awareness on the issue of online child safety.
