The Aliyah a Day is an in depth daily study of the weekly Torah portion (from Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) according to the daily readings. Rabbi Griffin shares insights to the Torah portion from ancient Jewish sources which include the Talmud, Midrash, Zohar, Rambam, Rashi, Rabbeinu Bachya, Ramban, and many other commentators. #LapidJudaism

@Lapid Judaism is an end time movement of believers returning to a Torah-true Judaism centered on the belief that Yeshua is the promised Messiah of Israel. Lapid represents a return to the religion of the Messiah which was and is traditional Judaism.

Your generous donations keep the Aliyah a Day going out to the world! Text to Give: (817) 859-6613.

Baruch HaShem, may the Ahavat Ammi (Love for my people) grow. We forever give praise and thanks to HaShem Who has given us Yeshua (ישוע), the Rock of our lives (Tzur Chayeinu / צור חיינו), He is the Messiah (Moshiach / משיח) of Israel!! We very much appreciate the important work of Rabbi Tovia Singer, of Outreach Judaism, and specifically his revealing of the deceptions of Paul who was a false apostle. #rabbitoviasinger ~ This is the true beit haderekh for anyone seeking the real gospel!

This was a great Aliyah! So much meat here 😋

Dealt with a lot of “sacred cows” in this one. Namely, the unbiblical understanding of sacrifice among Xtians today.

Love the insights on the two lambs that signify the two sons (Isaac and Messiah Yeshua) who typified the morning and evening Tamid’s 🔥

It’s clear that the tabernacle no longer stands, the temple no longer stands, and no sacrifices are being made currently.

But no matter the reason why or how the Temple was destroyed, it is not there.

But the presence of God is still with His people through his Spirit.

As Peter says, we are like living stones being built up into a holy temple, offering sacrifices, and praises to God!

It’s not just the sin offerings that Christ provided —is the praise offerings and the perpetual offerings for fellowship and joy …
Jesus’ sacrifice is not just about atonement for sin either.
His work provides joy and fellowship and encouragement, as well as atonement

I've heard that there are two main factors that compel people to action: acquiring pleasure and avoiding pain. It seems like Judaism is focused on the former while Xtianity is focused on the latter.

What does Jesus’s sacrifice provide for you as a Lapid?

It’s a straw man, though, or question begging, to say that Christians say or believe the only reason there was a temple was for sin.

That may be what a preponderance of what “lay Christians” believe, true.
But I myself have read and heard Christians preach that the tabernacle
provided a way and place for the presence of God to dwell with men..
And that’s also a powerful argument for yet again why the temple system is obsolete in the New and Living Way because now God can dwell and does dwell with men who repent and have faith in Christ.
“And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us.”
