Very interesting. Not many videos from Moldova on YouTube. I visited Moldova once in my life as a student in 1988 so it was still the Soviet Republic. As a student in Poland, we had exchanges with other students within an Eastern Bloc so this was how I have been there. This was very interesting and I still remember very friendly people everywhere. I wish I could visit Moldova again.

I lived in Ciocana district from 1990 till '93. USSR had just collapsed and Chisinau was mostly Soviet back there... Anyway, it was awesome in some way, still love this city!

I'm interested in the ancient Cucuteni–Trypillia culture, and preparing a trip to Ukraina/Moldova/Romania to explore some of the sites.
Any help or hints appreciated. I'll be heading south with an old Niva later this winter/spring, as Europe hopefully returns to "normal".

I had a good experience in Moldova. Just a delightful day drive from Gurgilesti (forgive the spelling) to Cahul. Nice lunch. Bought some silver jewelry. Good experience.
