"I'm making it large!"

"That's what she said."

And that's why we love you, Roman & Andrey. 😂

Hope they keep the V6, because the outgoing Passport's (and Ridgeline's) V6 is probably the best sounding non-performance engine sold today.

Can't wait to see without Camo and how this design language transfers to the Ridgeline!

I hope they bring this aggressiveness to the Ridgeline as well. The AWD system is unmatched. Also the Ridgeline along with the Passport definitely need more ground clearance

Y'all have much higher expectations for off road being in Colorado lol. The Passport won't be a Wrangler.

They don't need a 2-speed T-case. All they have to do is put a super low gear (lower than what they have now) as 1st gear in the transmission and then only allow that gear to be used during special engagement of "Low Speed Offroad Mode". Technology can do amazing things!

As a 2020 pilot owner looking to downsize soon, I will definitely keep a look out for the redesign.

I know Roman REALLY wants a true off-roader, but not everyone needs a Wrangler, Bronco, 4Runner type off-roader. That market just isn't that big. A vehicle that can handle very rough forest roads to get to a rustic campsite is more than sufficient for many people. See Subaru Outback Wilderness.

Having said that, if Honda, and Subaru, for that matter would put in at least a mechanical limited slip differential into their off-road packages that would be a big enhancement. I saw a comment elsewhere about not needing a transfer case, but using a super-low first gear that is only accessible in an off-road mode. That idea has some merit I think.

@8:10 I thought Andre is trying to say "its their variable v6". Since its a variable displacement / cylinder deactivation v6, I thought Andre going to say Variable V6 where it runs on 3cyl when not much load is needed.

I plan on purchasing a new vehicle in 2026 to keep long-term and the Passport Trailsport is on my list. I was really excited to hear of the redesign and hope Honda keeps the V6. Other vehicles I'm looking at have turbo 4 cylinders, which IMO, may not be as good for long-term reliability. I'm glad to see that increased ground clearance and approach/departure angles are being implemented to make this vehicle more off-road capable.

I think Honda is ready to take on the future small Land Cruiser, the Bronco Sport, and the Subaru SUV line of cars. Looks very muscular and offroad ready.

Thank goodness for no turbo 4 cylinder and retaining the n/a V6!!

I'd love to see what Honda could come out with being really serious about a serious off roader !!
Something that could compete with the Tacoma

It’s the interior that needs an update! This is never going to be a serious off roader. 😂

I wish they would change the front of the Ridgeline to a more aggressive style.
