For me, this song gives off 2 similar vibes

1 : when a little kid says something so unusual that they would normally never know about (example: "i know what i was in my past life, i was a solider for the military")

2 : when a little kid/toddler says something so creepy to you, most likely relating to a monster or something ghost like (example: "mom, the eyes in the walls do not want us living in this house anymore" or "he's behind you")

I think the sped up version for me is a little eerie and that’s why I like it so much

I first discovered Gorillaz when I was ill and only used to really get into songs when I was (ie I got covid once and it was nonstop Empire Ants, Broken and Charger) and now every song feels that little bit more funky
