BM-800 vs B-1

B1 sounded better for me on your voice as it took the low frequencies well, I also agree that you were more inclined to the B1 mic. I would have loved to hear another test with a different voice 2, or 3 more male and female voices.

is not the way to test the microphones, because your vocal projection is more towards the side of the microphone on your left the B1 but the b1 is more expensive because logic should sound better greetings

This microphone actually works perfectly with lgv30 the phone provides the phantom power and you get a very crisp sound the phone was only $69 and supports 24-bit recording FLAC 192khz so I'm happy with that cord in the Box you do need to get an adapter though I recommend the techstar adapter it's thick enough that's able to provide enough power

Everyone says that the B1 is better as if it was not understood initially. The question is not which one is better, but whether the difference in quality is worth the difference in price.

Sound wise the B-1 hands down, better noise floor, smoother highs, nicer proximity effect etc.... can't believe I'm giving a Behringer product a thumbs up. But BUT BUT ...you really can't beat $13, - ... *shrugs*

You have one of the cheaper versions of the BM 800 there's different versions of the BM 800 the capsule on yours is smaller than most

Standing to my humble opinion the B1 sounds better. Since both of mics are un-expensive (as mics) I'd buy the behringer. Know that you can correct on post production but this it's not the point...

Great! It seems that b1 can capture the bass frequence a litlle bit better than the b800....
B1 is more louder than the b800 but the b1 is clipping a lot, Like in the minute do you agree??

Bm800 in all reviews is full of noise . You can't compare a true condenser with an electret microphone (and you don't even know the size of that electret . Sometimes is 9mm ) .Even C1 sounds bettter than bm800.

The Bowel Movement-800 is not any good. The B-1 is a great bargain large condenser microphone.

for 100 buck get a mxl 770 put a 30 dollar gold capsule in it and ur quality's 5 x both those mics for 80 bucks
