This is a tier list comprising all of the characters in Season 4 of Stranger Things! We have gone over so many theories as to who is not going to survive Stranger Things season 4 so I thought I would put all that information and thoughts into a Tier List so we can take a good look at who I think is not making it out of Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 alive!

I definitely don’t think Joyce is gonna die. I can’t see Murray or Enzo getting out of Russia but I can’t see Hopper getting out alone.

If you rewatch episode 1 of Season 4, the school project Will and El had to do: El did Hopp and on Will’s poster board he had Alan Turing. Alan Turing was instrumental in breaking the Nazi Enigma code and winning WWII. I think Will will be instrumenta in figuring out how to kill the mind flayer and destroying the upside down, that’s why he has such a strong connection to it

Will is the new threatening villan. He has the most knowledge(aside from Dustin).

They also called him 'Will the wise' once while playing D&D.

I think Lucas is less safe than you think. His death might bring the jocks and the nerds together (Eddy wouldn’t kill one of his own, after all) and they can defend Hawkins. Lucas dies saving Max and a love letter to her is under his mattress, just like she was going to leave everyone letters.

They’d be fools to kill off Steve. That would legitimately upset too many people. They can take everybody else and all their mothers, just not Steve. Anyone but Steve.

I don’t think Will will die however I do think he will be in danger . There are some images that Noah posted that suggest Will is in danger! About the Jonathan and will hug scene a lot of us think will gets cursed and that scene is Vecna or Will tells Jonathan he is in love with Mike. So I think Joyce is safe,
I also think Mileven is done so Mike won’t sacrifice himself for her!

If you watch the st4 Vol.2 trailer you can see that Dustin is screaming/crying and running towards someone and if you slow it down it seems he’s shouting “EDDIE”

See, I think max is gonna die / go into a coma. They will read her notes to close out S4. Kinda like a reverse psychology

I think that a person from each group is going to die. From the Russia group it’ll be Murray, from the Nina project group it’ll be Brenner, for the Hawkin’s group it’ll be Robin and from the California group it’ll be either Will or Johnathan.

Murray has become a fan favorite but also has become to fantastical in nature and served his purpose. Brenner is a no brainer as we didn’t expect him to be alive anyway. Robin is the shocking death no one expects her to die but they did show that scene in the trailer where she was worried about not surviving, plus she’s become close to all the kids and her lost would hurt everyone. Then last either Johnathan or Will might “die”. If it’s Johnathan then it would close the love triangle and provide the darkest timeline for Will and Joyce. If it’s Will I don’t think he’ll be dead more so thought dead and lost in the upside down again and which will push the storyline for season 5 in trying to get him back and with him gone we might find out what’s in the painting he made.

I have a big feeling Max ends up dying. Before Lucas has his fight we have the clip of him going into the Kreel House with Max and Erica, and another photo of him and Max in the window of the attic. What if during the fight with the basketball captain Vecna attacks Max again and Lucas isn’t there to put the music for her again. It’s known that everything is done for a reason with Stranger Things and I doubt the Duffers would have Max stay up all night writing those letters for them to not be read at any point.

Nancy probably won’t die in volume 2. The trailer shows Eddie playing her favorite song which Robin knows because earlier she was snooping around and found Nancy’s cassette tapes.
