King Charles Delivers Emotional Speech at D-Day Anniversary in Normandy

The King has led the tributes at a ceremony in Normandy to mark the 80th anniversary of the operation. His Majesty paid tribute to those who “did not flinch when the moment came” on D-Day in his address to leaders and veterans at the commemoration service.

A great speech from the King, I must admit I had my doubts when Her Majesty died but I shouldn’t have worried . The king is just carrying on continuation of The Royal Family and that’s its greatest strength for all us . To all the veterans saying thank you doesn’t seem enough for there sacrifices, my dad was volunteer in the Somerset Light Infantry god bless him
