Subframe Paint? Volvo S60R Vol-Vlog Part 1

I've been wrenching for awhile and I've always been amused and somewhat jealous of the channels on YouTube, getting paid to work on their own stuff. That's the dream for me, to get paid making my vehicles go faster! This is my first attempt at a video like this, I learned how to edit a day before I posted this. So I am totally welcoming to constructive feedback. I know I need to work on my rambling and do more doing! Let me know what you liked and disliked about the style of this video. I hope the work of this video helps me connect with fellow gear heads so we can work together on getting out of tiny garages!.. and maybe even entertain someone out there. Hopefully you enjoy it, and follow along as I go about refreshing and upgrading multiple aspects of my newly acquired 2004 Volvo S60R. Congratulations for the video, it's very well structured and clearly explained. In regarding to your question, I like the idea of using paint with a purpose, I mean I would paint the whole Subframe in color gray ruggedized, it will help to reduce noise while on the road, small parts like bushings, even the cover arm it's fine to do it in blue, it's kind of a standard to indicate it is a "safety" item which add a purpose to the color paint. Keep on the good work and looking forward for the coming series JD

IMO the subframe should be black. It's under the car & a bit too big to be an accent blue.

The little brackets you painted blue already should be enough highlight 👌

Must replace subframe bushings! I have a vod on the special tool which is still available. Nice video.

You should install Delrin subframe bushings while you have a chance. No sure on the IPD lca and links.
