I absolutely ADORE everything about The Unknown emphasizing so many different aspects of what it's like to be a collector, especially since you poured bits of yourself into him.
Beast Wars Megatron being used as a basis for the "main" body since it's one of the first figures that you had, the hands that are proportionally large enough to hold the different fighters like action figures, the color palette, eyestalks and exosuit rig all combining to create the image of a giant metallic snail... Not to mention that ending.
The idea of wanting to get the "perfect" incarnation of a character and finding yourself drowning in different versions trying to figure out what they mean to you, what ANY of it means to you, and eventually realizing that the "perfect" ones are just... the ones that make you happy. It's something I had to go through and still struggle to remind myself of.

I’m just as impressed with the CG animation as I am with the stop motion. Is there an art form this guy can’t master?
