Ive always wondered how a parachute was packed. But its a lot more intricate than i thought for sure. I can't wait to go sky diving. Looks like one hell of an adrenaline rush.

I'll have to try doing the lines in the tray.

Most boring part of skydiving and it's still fun to do 😂

very interesting mate, have you seen the method of packing the pilot chute that makes the system safer in the event of a horseshoe? I can think how to explain it but I have seen Brian Germain make a few videos on it and it really does make the system safer. That method means that the pilot chute wount get snagged in the BOC if the pilot chute is pulled from the bridle in the event of an out of sequence deployment. I know my wording here is horrible lol so check out the videos, may save your life. I know I feel a lot safer packing so that in the remote possibility I have one, I have the system setup correctly for it.

Am i seeing this right? Did you Push the stabis inward? Why? Do the lines damage the stabis, arent they?
And at 3:36, when you Put the whole Thing in the pod, do you pull the right Hand forwards, to keep a tension?
Anyway you have a very similar packing method to mine and i got a few new tricks, thank you.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, but that's the first time in literally decades that I've seen someone push the nose of the adjacent cells inside the nose of the centre cell.

It's something I used to do when I first learned to pack, but I'd long since forgotten it and I didn't think anyone did it any more. I just let the nose hang freely inside the pack job.

What do you think this technique does for your openings - just slow them down a bit?

I'm just learning to pack and this video helps a lot. What's your canopy size?
