I’m been listening to Cody since I was 24. I’m 31 now and still come back to hear real country music. Thank you, Cody

The best compliment I can give is Cody is a throwback to when Country music was authentically COUNTRY. He has the same soul of the best of them.

Cody packs more truth in a song than most church sermons.

I don't think he has a bad song. Another honest and humble tune by this wonderful musician. Each instrument heard, great song writer, and what a voice! His greatest hits album will truly rock too!

This is true gospel country music. I feel like this song was written for me. Keep the cold hard truth coming brother!!

I think he's talking directly to me.
I think like I think because I had lost who I was.
I drink like I drink because I overthink.
Then you came along...

And yet again folks, Jinks provides yet another amazing tune. What a shame that Nashville is blind to true talent.

Thing about guys like Cody Jinks and Jamey Johnson, they lived the lives they sing and like the good ole outlaws of the 70s, cash, waylon, willie ETC...

The Good Book holds the reasons
I believe the way i do
And all i needed to know i was taught in Sunday school
But i live like those rules were for everyone but me
Selfish disregard for how it hurt my family
I staggered down the hall to our bed
She helped steady me and said
How can you think like you think
Turn around and drink like you drink
You can barely stand up when you kneel down to pray
How can you tell our children to be strong
And fight temptation in a world in a world gone wrong
How can you think like you think and drink like you drink
Bless that girl that looks out for me
With the faith and the love of a saint
Give me the strength to make sure that she never again has to say
How can you think like you think
Turn around and drink like you drink
You can barely stand up when you kneel down to pray
How can you tell our children to be strong
And fight temptation in a world in a world gone wrong
How can you think like you think and drink like you drink
How can you think like you think like you think and drink like you drink

well done! Why is this the 1st time I'm hearing you?? You sound like Randy Travis brother you got it! I'm fixing to drink another wine, but God is my man!! "How can you think like you think & drink like you drink"??
Me.. Because Jesus turned water into wine for Aries like me that are fire!!! I love these words bcuz I'm an addict sober now for 6yrs from those damn pills so I totally relate to this song and feel it!! I don't drink anymore & I don't drink any less!! You need to be on cmt my man or are you?

when I hear this song I always think of 80s Clint black or maybe Alan Jackson. Would fit in perfect on country radio. If they still played country music.

One of my favorite songs off the "Collectors Item" albums. Also love there's fiddle on at least 2 songs from this album, something I missed hearing on the "Lifers" album
