why aren't we talking about deaths & hospitalizations? A positive test does not automatically mean it's a case. A positive test plus symptoms = a case. I wish media would do their job and report this info.

Case counts by themselves do not mean anything. We need to know the death counts and the residence/work/social environment of those people . And on the basis of that info you take very specific measures, NOT a one-size fits all shut-down.
