What a beautiful boat that is sir, love it, one of the things that stand out for me is how she flows from one area to the next, that would be an easy boat to live with. You guys have done a great job on her, Well done.

I bought a 2009 Selene 43 2 years ago and under went a $150, 000 refit after purchase. The major differences are the engine (Cummins 350 hp in mine)’ Spledide washer dryer, hard top, and no get-home as there is no room. Updates included restoration of the interior teak by Huckins Boat Yard, all new Garmin electronics, hull paint, and Wesmar stabilizers upgrade with at anchor function and many, many other smaller changes including Starlink.

Excellent presentation! Beautiful boat. Amazed at how much you can into 45’. Agree with previous commentator; would prefer a separate wing engine. Is there a water maker? Sorry if I missed it.

Is there a synthetic option for the cap rail?

Beautiful boat! It was stated that this boat is headed for the East Coast of the US. Any chance that it will be on display at the Trawlerfest in Baltimore in September?

Extensive tour. Seems like Selene packs a lot into 45'. An impressive lot. (Stabilizers?) I'm sure I won't be the only one to mention the missed opportunity to have focussed on the boat's ample storage. All that other stuff is nice, but we all know that when you go to sea, bringing along ALL your stuff is key. I mean, otherwise, why have stuff?

And a John Deere diesel? Good thing those engine-out hatches are designed in, as Deere products are dealer-servicible-only, last I heard...

As a spokesperson for the company you would probably know ? What sets you apart from let's say Kadey Krogan and Nordhaven ? Why would I choose a Selene over a Kadey Krogan or Nordhaven ?

Fire your cameraman, he spent too much time focusing in on you rather than the boat.

One vital thing wrong with this boat that is the fact it has a single engine and if anything goes wrong whilst in the open ocean you are screwed

If the washer and/or dryer need to be replaced, is there a procedure for getting the old out and the new in?

Great video. But why do I write so ?
First I am sorry about syntax errors: english is not my native lanquage.
During years I have seen hundreds of videos about boats/yachts and I have found my favourites again and again.
I was not very interested about Selene before this video. Why ?
Basic layouts of same size of boats are quite same, and for reason.
It is about details and how to use spaces as efficiently as possible.
Builder needs to think about hundreds of thinks and naturally seaworthines is most critical (that includes safety).
What makes yachts practical are customers ideas and naturally manufacturers solutions to make those.
This particular yacht is semi custom and that got my attention.
Points, not in special order are:
-Many gates both sides
-TV on lift at saloon (it easy to hide when you prefer to watch thru windows) at good watching height. And big.
-Well thought galley with enough storage including fritz and freezer.
-Large cockpit where you can choose do you want to have ladders to flybridge or not (if steps from pilothouse is enough)
-Good size pilothouse with pilot perth. I wonder is there space for pilot chair like a bit bigger models have...
-Smart indoor way to flybridge
-Large engineroom
-Hydraulic get-home solution which saves a lot of space comparing to wing engine. Naturally if you damage propeller that does not help but orherwise is very good solution
-Has two staterooms and two heads with separate shower areas. Amazing ! Still enough room to move easily.
-Lot of floor hatches for easy access to service under floor technology
-Extremely high quality work everywhere (woodwork, electronics etc)
-what really stole my attention was separate washer and dryer located to place where those should be: near staterooms. Also separate dryer is really needed if you want to have dry clothes (no: compined washer-dryer does not do so). That location means that quest stateroom looses high storage but at companion way near stairs there is space for that.
Also under beds.
-Second very well thought space is separate utility room under saloon and indoor hatch to go there. So much storage space including extra freezers (or fritz or compinations as you wish). And lot of space for tools etc. Amazing to notice how much usable space boat has when everything is thought and also asked ideas from customers.
-Staterooms are large enough for longer trips
-Master stateroom has hidden ladders for hatch escape if emergency happens
-Storm shutters on windows.
-Portuquese bridge
-Raked pilothouse front windows
-Video showed a lot of details but one think I tried to find is location of fuel fills. Ideally - if split to two - near each others so you do not need to draw filltube around

Fed words about video itself:
-Wayne knows this yacht well and it si good starting point
-As wayne said: professional videographer was not available when he got time to shoot this but still some comments
-It is allways good to walk thru the yacht with videographer and explain what presenter points out before videoshooting. That way videographer knows when it is time to follow talking head and when to show points of interest. It is so booring to look talking person instead of subject (S)he talks about
-It is good to videorecord separately and from many angles those points and add those to final video at edit. You can´t record too much material; you just need to think well what goes to final video
-It is good to show - like Wayne did -what is behind every door and hatch. But take time to explain also well
-It is good to speak as much as possible about technical solutions and used equipment because you really know even smallest details. If somethind does not interest someone, (s)he can skip that part.
-When showing details do no hurry: it is interesting to see labels of individual switches and fuses and equipment. It does not matter if video gets longer; it is sales material and many see product (in this case yacht) first time.
-Would be helpfull to see layouts. Jeff M uses that a lot showing where he is and that really helps to understand boat´s layout. It is good to show layouts (flybridge, main deck, lower deck ets) long enough and with good resolution. Also diagrams and lists (dimensions etc) so long that even not native english speaking (reading) viewers get time to read and understand that.
-Do not repeately repeat phrases like "unbelievable", "Extreamly amazing" etc. Let viewers notice that by showing it. Ofcource it is good that presenter is broud of product but please stay on facts and tell (and show) what makes this yacht special

-My comments about "how to" are not critics about Wayne; I just point what I would like to see and hear.

After this veeeery long story I still want to tell that This version of Selene 45 is my dream yacht and hopelully at some day I can be broud owner.

Cabinet door catches seem to be plastic - doesn’t look like excellent quality. Am I wrong.

Worst cameraman in the world. The boat is a piece of art though.

Nice boat and tour! New to the channel but if I see “Primary Stateroom” in a graphic one more time, I won’t be watching again. As he said, “master stateroom”. Lose the woke garbage.
