Bourdieu and Cultural Capital

Here we look at the rise of Critical Social Theory and the work of theorists such as Pierre Bourdieu who sought to rethink concepts such as class. We look at Bourdieu's idea of cultural capital, and how it might be applied to more contemporary youth subcultures like hip hop culture.
