The feature, you consider a “gimmick”, for me, is one of the best features of this UI.
Sometimes when I enter online, my friends are finishing a game... doesn’t matter the game.

- Call of Duty
- FIFA
- A race in Grand Turismo, doesn’t matter...
Today, I can join the party, but I’ve to wait until they finish that game.
With PS5... I can actually see them playing while I am waiting.

Like, bench Coaching.

That’s awesome.

- We can sent invites while in the game.
- We can accept invites while in game.

It’s a very “gamer friendly” UI...

I actually think this is enough I personally like the surprise of unboxing a new console and booting it up the first time, then finding out for myself what the system UI looks like and does. 👍

I'm at the point where I don't care about the difference in frame rates, teraflops resolution we don't play specs we play games. Sony has my full attention and I'm entirely impressed with what they are trying to achieve. Everything looks fantastic. It literally has nothing Ive seen from them that looks like unpolished or shitty.

Im love with everything ps5 is doing.
Pic in pic is pretty cool and collecting trophy will be pretty easy to get. and auto text writing awesome i suk at typing.

The PS5 UI has things that actually help you play the games, while the Series X UI has pop-ups that say things like "we have velocity architecture" ... it's like having the Xbox Marketing drilled into you by your own personal Xbot coach. I'm not kidding. It's hilarious😂

Coming from an old school gamer, I see potential in the share screen. Think cooperative multiplayer beat em up or hack n slash (devil may cry, god of war etc). You get to keep track of where your partner is. I think this genre definitely suffer from lack of coop mode since the transition from 2D to 3D as you don't want all the characters to be stuck on a single screen.

Everyone that I've watched aren't feeling the screen share feature. Its bizarre to me. As soon as I saw it I got excited. Its a nice tool to see how my friends play, seeing their screen will help me assist them on certain games, and would give me something to watch if I dont want to play. Its literally like watching your sibling play games when you were a kid

I have my qualms about it but it is interesting and that’s more than I can say about Nintendo and Xbox’s. Also it has picture and picture which is a god tier feature
